How I work

Flexibility and adaptability

A web project doesn't always start in the same place.

Sometimes everything has to be created. But sometimes the logo already exists, or the mockups are waiting for someone to bring them to life. My process has five steps, and you don't need to take all of them: we can start wherever you are, and stop once you have what you need.

  1. Analysis

    This may be the most important step: understanding the need. Before designing anything or writing a single line of code, I try to understand your business, the people you're speaking to and what already exists.

    This step sets the course: even for a short project, it can't be skipped.

  2. Identity

    Logo, palette, typefaces: a visual identity gives your business a consistent image, from the website to business cards. I then adapt it to the materials you need.

    • Some pointers on what you like (and what you don't)

  3. Design

    I first work on the structure of the website (its sitemap) before moving on to wireframes (low-fidelity mockups), which help refine the user journey.

    Once these foundations are in place, I can create the high-fidelity mockups (desktop and mobile), which will serve as the reference for development.

  4. Integration

    I build the website from the mockups, with a focus on performance and eco-design, and following accessibility guidelines.

    The website is also built so that you can update it on your own.

    • Access to its admin

    • A domain name and hosting (or your go-ahead for me to take care of it)

  5. Follow-up

    Once the website is live, I don't disappear: I help you get to grips with it, and I remain available if anything goes wrong.

Accessibility, at every step

Accessibility isn't something to think about at the end of the creative process: it starts with the mockups (contrast, text sizes, a clear journey…) and is then built in during development, with keyboard navigation, attention to screen readers and text alternatives.

I follow the WCAG and RGAA standards, so that your website can be used by everyone, including people with disabilities, whether permanent or temporary.
